A Concern

It is slow but steady the pace by which Muslims (or Islam???) are getting synonymous (sorry, but it is true) with terrorist(ism). Whenever we heard of any blasts, hijakcks,killings, suicide bombers first of all everybody directly associate it to Muslims. The way political leaders, hollywood/bollywood movies, popular magazines, news channels and ultimately Moulanas (sorry again, but you guys are the most insane and important people to blame) are depicting Islam and eventually to Muslims; no wonder (and I am scared) if our next generation simply categorize us as a herd of bestial Morlocks.

Today Muslims dont have any authentic International (or atleast national) popular platform to claim their stand on different issues pertaining to Islam, they dont own any big news agency or magazines that is admired/appreciated or regarded as trustworthy all over the world, they dont have any significant contribution to any Industry, no technical expertise, no Literary activities, no strong hold in world class politics, no contribution to entertainment industry. If Muslims keep fighting with guns without changing their narrow view then the day is not far away when accroding to Darwin's famous "Survival of the fittest" theory Muslims may eliminate one day from the earth as they remain
unadaptable in the changing environment of the world.

Lack of team activity everywhere is clearly evident. Improper channelization of resources, greedy and fake intermediaries, internal jealousy and crab mentality is much more prominent in this community than any other. I know we have better (should I say far better, isn't??) individuals in every field but lack of team effort destroys everything. Result is that we are not serving the world by our talent in a useful manner and if we continue in the same manner then the day is not far away when Muslim will be the most useless bunch on the earth. No idea when our intellectuals will come up with some suitable idea to organize people and things efficiently. Only dreaming and singing past glory is of no use at all.

This is the time when Muslims should put all the guns down and help society to improve life by their contribution to education, philosophy, technology, business, communication and in so many other fields. We should understand the point that weapons can't do the things that a mere pen can do. Pen has amazing powers and when it mixed with trruth and real passion it can do wonders for a whole society.
