"CoreGroup" Got Together

"Core Group" did it again :D.............

yes, core gorup did it again after a long pause..... a Successful get together of the brotherhood where everyone came and participated with the full enthusiasm spreading the amazing color of livelihood and the good news is that core group extended the membership with the inclusion of Mudassar Shahab, Shadab and Saif Siddiqui..... where the pioneers of the core gorup were - Fahad Abbasi, Azaharuddin, Abdul Haq, Shafi Ahmad, Sabir Khan and me ;) .....

The occassion was the Fahad's farewell for Bangalore and the venue chosen was C.C. in New Friends Colony. Party started by making Saif to wait for an hour alone in C.C. where Abdul was completely responsible for his part of acting..... "yar tu wahin wait kar main 10 min me aa raha hun" ....and then I reached there with Azahar after paying a brief visit to a close friend in hospital and enjoyed Saif's frustration in full....Abdul's arrival with Shadab gave it a new dimension where he was convicted for all the game... thanks Abdul for your patience ;).....we liked the lame execuse of Abdul... "yar main to so raha thaaa" .....so upto this time party had already started without our host with Shawarma, cold-drinks and cigerratte puffs..... now, this was the time of arrival of our host Mr. great Janab Fahad Abbasi Sb.....and then Mudassir.

Now, this was the time to begin flurry of stories about everyone and everyone revived the irritations, quarrel over trifles, heated arguments, confliction of thoughts, girls, office, P.M., movies, families and college days.

Overall it was a great time together friends and looking for more such parties.. hopefully 2'nd June is the next date for brotherhood to get together as to celebrate the combined party of Shafi bhai and Azahar's Distinction awards.

Parents and me...

Getting three times proper meal, tea snacks, browsing markets and Cinema halls in evening feels like a dream in Noida for thousands of Bachelors (basically "Lukkey" :)) like us who are residing away from their home town just to add some quality to the life and to earn daily bread-and-butter. But, the point here is that this dream got true with the arrival of my beloved and afffectionate parents in town. Took a three days off from the office and enjoyed the great time with them with the lots of suggestions on how and why to keep the house clean. Know what??, I myself spent a complete day to clean the house before their arrival and was looking for some words of appreciation at my house-cleaning skills :(, so guys below are some of the "Naseehats" they bestowed upon me and I would like to share with you so that when your parents arrived to your clean house you dont feel embarrassed:

1. Your floor should look clean, no pieces of papers and advertisements should be rolling around.
2. There should be a bedsheet on the matress, alone mattress is not sufficient.
3. Similarly pillow cover sohuld be there on the pillows.
4. Spidey nets are not allowed.
5. Crawling spideys and lizards should not be seen on the walls.
6. Even grills of the window should be clean, god knows why??.......I just suggested that dust on grills doesn't interrupt clean air to come inside and invited the big eyes wide open towards me, enuff to scare me :(
7. There should be no dust on fan and fan blades.
8. Books and laptops should have a definite place in the room.
9. There should be a table in the room to keep the routinely needed things like books, watch, specs, pen, copy etc.
10. Bathroom and toilets should be cleaned everyday not weekly.
11. All sleepers and shoes should go to a definite place if not in current use.
12. A big clock should be there on the wall in the room with alarms.
13. All clothes should either be in Almirah or in washing tub or should be in sun for drying or on your body.
14. There should be glasses to drink water.
15. Sohuld pay a visit to kitchen before falling asleep.

..and lots more... hope these tips will be useful for my wife in future ;) , I am never going to do any of these things untill my marriage and then basically depends ;) .....

Why Do we Read Quran?

Why do we read Quran, even if we can't understand a single Arabic word????

This is a beautiful story

An old man lived on a farm in the mountains of eastern Kentucky with his young grandson. Each morning Grandpa was up early sitting at the kitchen table reading his Qur'an. His grandson wanted to be just like him and tried to imitate him in every way he could.

One day the grandson asked, 'Grandpa! I try to read the Qur'an just like you but I don't understand it, and what I do understand I forget as soon as I close the book. What good does reading the Qur'an do?'
The Grandfather quietly turned from putting coal in the stove and replied, 'Take this coal basket down to the river and bring me back a basket of water.'

The boy did as he was told, but all the water leaked out before he got back to the house. The grandfather laughed and said, 'You'll have to move a little faster next time,' and sent him back to the river with the basket to try again. This time the boy ran faster, but again the basket was empty before he returned home. Out of breath, he told his grandfather that it was impossible to carry water in a basket, and he went to get a bucket instead. The old man said, 'I don't want a bucket of water; I want a basket of water. You're just not trying hard enough,' and he went out the door to watch the boy try again.

At this point, the boy knew it was impossible, but he wanted to show his grandfather that even if he ran as fast as he could, the water would Leak out before he got back to the house. The boy again dipped the basket into river and ran hard, but when he reached his grandfather the basket was again empty. Out of breath, he said, 'See Grandpa, it's useless!' 'So you think it is useless?' The old man said, 'Look at the basket.'

The boy looked at the basket and for the first time realized that the basket was different. It had been transformed from a dirty old coal basket and was now clean, inside and out.

'Son, that's what happens when you read the Qur'an. You might not understand or remember everything, but when you read it, you will be changed, inside and out. That is the work of Allah in our lives.'

Love by Swami Vivekananda

I once had a friend who grew to be very close to me.Once when we were sitting at the edge of a swimming pool, she filled the palm of her hand with some water and held it before me, and said this: "You see this water carefully contained on my hand? It symbolizes Love." This was how I saw it: As long as you keep your hand caringly open and allow it to remain there, it will always be there. However, if you attempt to close your fingers round it and try to posses it, it will spill through the first cracks it finds.

This is the greatest mistake that people do when they meet love.... They try to posses it, they demand, they expect ... And just like the water spilling out of your hand, love will retrieve from you. For love is meant to be free, You can not change its nature.

If there are people you love, allow them to be free beings.

Give and don't expect.
Advise, but don't order.
Ask, but never demand.

It might sound simple, but it is a lesson that may take a lifetime to truly practice. It is the secret to true love. To truly practice it, you must sincerely feel no expectations from those who you love, and yet an unconditional caring."
