Line of thought :)

Just wondering about the words.... why most of the languages have opted to give more characters to any word that describe females than male. Just see the comparison of letters those describe girls and boys as below:

1. Girl > Boy
2. Female > Male
3. Woman > Man
4. Lass> Lad
5. Mrs.> Mr.
6. Mistress > Mister
7. Mademiselle > Monsieur -> French
