A Long Story Cut Short...

Following is the short form of a true story told to me by one of my cousin during my Kanpur trip in a highl descriptive manner consuming a lot of my precious time. I found this story too inspirational that I decided to post it to my blog page:

There was farmer in a village in Ghazipur. He was eldest among the three brothers and father died in his very young age. He took care of his brothers very well, his immediate younger brother also started farming with him and the youngest brother continued his study to get a job as a custom duty officer. They has 4 children in the next generation, one from the eldest brother, two from the younger brother and one from the youngest. Son of eldest brother was a deaf-mute child and her mother was much worried about him. Just to secure the future of her only son she once told her husband to deposit a fixed amount of lumpsum of Rs. 2 Lac in bank for her only son for suture usage. Farmer was a rich person, he went ahead and deposited the same amount not for only his own son but for all the 4 children and told her wife. Her wife responded him, "you can never understand anything". Old farmer just gave a smile and left.
Some years later, farmer thought to buy a cold storage and found himself in short of money. He talked to the youngest brother if he could invest money in it. Youngest brother immediately responded by sending a cheque of very huge amount, more than sufficient to buy the cold storage but with a short note requesting him to not to talk about it in the house (means not to tell any of the wives of brothers). Farmer took the cheque, but after a night he returned the cheque back by saying if his brother has not the courage (and faith) to talk about this thing to his wife then he is not supposed to financially contribute for the project.

So friends, this story tells something very important about family values and traits and respect but I am leaving the conclusion part for you.....please feel free to comment about all the morals you received from the story....

**Just to clarify the end - "Some days later he again got the cheque with the clean-chit from his youngest brother's wife and with an apology letter for his mistake..."
